Rajeev Sindhi

Founder, Managing Director

Rajeev Sindhi has been in the healthcare business for the last 20 years. He is the Managing Director of the Sandor group in India. The Sandor group is a distribution partner for multinationals such as Sanofi, Abbott, and Cantel; they provide diagnostic and scientific services in genetics and genomics in India. The flagship company of the group, Sandor Medicaids Pvt. Ltd serves more than 2,500 hospitals in India and Southeast Asia.

Dr. Rakesh Sindhi

MD, Professor of Surgery

He is a transplant surgeon. He is also a Professor of Surgery, Co-Director of Pediatric Transplant Surgery, and Director of Pediatric Transplant Research at the University of Pittsburgh. Sindhi has authored 15 patent applications along with being the author or co-author of over 130 peer-reviewed papers. He has received several grants from the National Institute of Health allowing him to study the immunogenetic basis of transplant rejection and the genetic basis of biliary atresia, the leading congenital cause of liver transplantation in children.

Dr. Radha Rama Devi

Senior Consultant, Clinical Genetics

Dr. Radha Rama Devi is a highly experienced doctor with several decades of experience in treating patients.she is a scientific stalwart,responsible for spearheading Sandor’s high-tech lap setup. She has been instrumental in setting up the first Newborn Screening for preventable causes of Mental retardation in India and published the first data on the prevalence of these disorders in the Indian population. She has been fundamental in setting up the Nations comprehensive Genetic Diagnostic Service Laboratory for the diagnosis of Biochemical, molecular, and cytogenetic disorders at the Center for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), a unit of the Department of Biotechnology Government of India. This led to the setting up of prenatal diagnosis for high-risk families with the objective of genetic counseling and prevention of genetic disorders. She is a member of the Taskforce study of Newborn screening set up by the Indian Council of Medical Research. Presently she is the President of the Indian Society of Inborn Errors of Metabolism and is a life member of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics.She is the recipient of several awards and recognitions including Senior Women Bioscientist in India - 2005 - DBT, India. She has over 70+ papers published in acclaimed national and international journals.

Dr. Patil is working at the intersection of research and clinical care @ Sandor, guiding the clinical diagnosis and management of genetic disorders and strengthening sandor’s commitment to providing quality diagnostic services.
